Konbi × DC: Hōjicha Caramel Chocolate Bar
This one-of-a-kind bar was dreamed up in collaboration with Nick Montgomery and Akira Akuto of Konbi LA, a Japanese-influenced sandwich shop in Los Angeles. With a focus on high-quality products and flavor, we worked on making this chocolate bar unique and approachable.
The inspiration for this chocolate bar was found in Konbi's iconic hōjicha latte, which features beautiful tea from Kettl and creates a rich, deeply aromatic roasted green tea flavor profile. We drew on this palate and added caramel notes throughout the bar, creating a rich, crunchy, and cocoa-intensive experience for you to enjoy.
